Cambodia Claims Major Progress Against Online Scams but Poipet Remains a Persistent Hotspot
Cambodian authorities have shut down more than 200 online scam operations in Banteay Meanchey province over seven months, deporting tens of thousands of foreign nationals. However, the provincial governor admits Poipet town has not been completely cleared of fraudulent activity.
