Penang Shuts Down 177 Food Outlets Over Hygiene Failures
Penang's Health Department has temporarily closed 177 food premises for hygiene breaches discovered during inspections of over 4,000 establishments between January and April, with pest control deficiencies accounting for nearly 70 per cent of violations.
