MCMC Tackles Over 127,000 Scam Posts on Social Media Since Start of Year
Malaysia's MCMC has identified and requested removal of more than 127,000 fraudulent posts across social media platforms since January, with Facebook and TikTok accounting for over 90 percent of detected scams. Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil urged citizens to verify information through official fact-checking portals.
