TikTok To Pay US$400 Million Over Children's Privacy Violations
TikTok and parent company ByteDance have agreed to pay US$400 million to settle allegations of violating US children's privacy laws. The platform allegedly allowed children under 13 to create accounts and failed to delete data when parents requested removal.
