Government and Police Ordered to Compensate Activists RM195,000 for Wrongful Arrests
A Malaysian court has ordered the government and police to pay RM195,000 in damages to 13 activists who were wrongfully arrested during a candlelight vigil at Dataran Merdeka in August 2021.
