Chinese health centre duped 100+ seniors with soy sauce 'detox' scam, stealing US$1.5 million
A Beijing health centre systematically defrauded more than 100 elderly people of US$1.5 million by adding soy sauce to intestinal cleansing liquids to convince them they had toxins. Police arrested over 30 suspects involved in the scam.
