Dutch PM formally apologises to Moluccans for decades of broken promises and mistreatment
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten has issued a formal state apology to the Moluccan community for systematic mistreatment spanning decades. Around 12,500 Moluccans were transferred to the Netherlands after Indonesian independence but faced broken promises, poor conditions, and social abandonment.
