Sapangar Port Expansion Delayed to October 2027 as Sand Supply Challenges Persist
Sabah's Sapangar Bay Container Port expansion project has progressed to 62.75 per cent completion but now targets October 2027 completion, pushed back due to difficulties sourcing suitable sand for reclamation works from sites 10 kilometres away.
