Penang Sets Final Deadline for Jelutong Landfill Developer to Secure Environmental Approval
Penang's government will terminate its agreement with the current developer if environmental approval is not secured by a newly imposed deadline. The RM1 billion Jelutong landfill project has stalled after the Department of Environment rejected the initial EIA report.
