Uber and Wayve Win London Robotaxi Permits, Accelerating Race for Driverless Services
Uber and UK startup Wayve have secured London transport authority permits for supervised robotaxi operations, marking the first time regular passengers can access self-driving cabs in the city. The licences allow up to 15 vehicles with safety supervisors for one year.
