RM10,000 Annual Grant to Boost Operations of 8,615 Neighbourhood Watch Groups
Malaysia's government has increased the annual grant for 8,615 neighbourhood watch areas (KRT) nationwide from RM6,000 to RM10,000, effective January 2027. The move aims to strengthen grassroots community programmes across unity, welfare, and local development.
