UMNO Rift Deepens as Supreme Council Member Quits Over Son's Candidacy Snub
UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi has resigned from the party after his son was not nominated for the Rengit state seat. Party secretary-general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki says Puad threatened to quit and attack UMNO if the leadership rejected his request.
