Penang to Develop Industrial Park Independently After Failed Tender Processes
Penang's development authority will directly oversee the Batu Kawan Industrial Park 2 project after three rounds of competitive bidding failed. The 405-hectare site near George Town is expected to open to investors around 2030 following infrastructure completion.
