Women Make Electoral Gains in Johor State Election, Though Still Underrepresented
Ten women candidates secured victory in Johor's 16th state election, comprising nearly 20 per cent of the 172-candidate field. Seven winners represented Barisan Nasional while three came from Pakatan Harapan, signalling continued female political engagement across the state.
