Cabinet greenlights National Tahfiz Council with Zahid as chairman
Malaysia's Cabinet has approved establishing the National Tahfiz Council to oversee Quranic memorisation institutions nationwide. Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi will lead the new body.
